I finally figured out what was catching in the 127/128 bobbin case...
Every now and then the bobbin thread would break, a be tight at the "top" end of the bobbin. It felt "notchy" when pulling the thread through the bobbin. I felt the bobbin for burrs or rough spots and there weren't any. Bobbin winder seemed to work well. Looking in the bobbin case, I saw deep down in the bottom, a partial disc of "felt". I wondered if it was supposed to have a full one, hadn't read any where that there should be. Checked my other bobbin case, and it had a complete disc of "felt". So I pulled out the partial one, and PROBLEM SOLVED! It now pulls nice and smooth. So I pulled the "felt" out of the other case also. Yeay, progress...I think...
