Beautiful machine, wood, and metalwork---classic Davis. Netzow was well known for their pianos and like so many other shops at that time sold sewing machines as well. I've never seen a tension release lever in the shape of a shield before or any shape other than plain, a very neat feature. Davis started with Underfeeds around 1892 which were badged Advance.
