I just bought my Janome 2 weeks ago from a dealer that is 3 hours away, one way. I had never had the Janome brand so I wanted to try before I bought. I asked the dealer about the 300 dollar difference (less on the internet) & he told me the internet machines did not come with as many accessories. Also, that in store dealers did not have to service machines bought off the internet. I was afraid to buy from the internet and then if anything was wrong, would possibly have no recourse. I live too far away to take advantage of any free classes, but I do feel more assurance that if anything goes wrong, I do have someone to take it to.
