Thanks Zozee, I will take my time with this - you all are so great
Lots to think about. I need it for practical reasons and it needs to be able to sew flannel and denim layers. ( My Janome Magnolia) goes all wonky on my with layers. I feel like it's going to break...it makes me cringe. I really want something sturdy and reliable.
I'm so thankful for this thread and knowledgeable advice.
PS: Any suggestions for a machine I should be looking for?
