It's beautiful! I downloaded it to have a closer look! Lots of characters there that my kids would recognise. :-D
I'm guessing that you pieced the hexagons with the pink triangles into rows (no dreaded Y seams!) but may I ask how you cut your hexagons? Do you have a template?
