I purchased some batting at Joann's that was supposed to be microwave safe 100% cotton. I'm not sure if this is it, but the description sounds similar. I really like the feel of the batting I bought. It's in the prepackaged batting area. It was $7.99 a package, but I bought it on sale for $3.99. I will look at the package tonight and post again tomorrow.
