Great advice. I learned the hard way. I now print off 3 address labels.One gets Taped to the item . one gets taped to the wrapping or packing right on the top and of course one on the package. I do over pack but I can say so far I haven't had any thing break and I have mailed a few breakable glass items My DD said the biggest thing is whatever is packed cannot move. She worked in a shipping warehouse. No telling what people may find. I use scraps of batting, plastic bags, I reuse bubble wrap and paper . Styrofoam from things that were in boxes like TV's an tables .. I also "waterproof "my boxes my DD says. But I got tired of hearing the tape broke and other excuses.
