I just bought some, but haven't used it yet. I did let it tumble for about 1/2 hour in the dryer to get the 'dust' out.
Try washing it on gentle cycle, and tumbling it dry.
I have to wash all my fabrics because I am allergic to whatever the heck they put on the fabric to keep bugs away.
