I wanted to make a quilt for my SIL and asked her favorite color and to my surprise she said Yellow! Of all colors I dislike it is yellow
Well I did some hunting around and have made several panel quilts when I came upon this Sunny Blossoms fabric panel and accompanying fabric and thought it was perfect! The little sayings on the panel were perfect, she is very gentle and giving - a school teacher
and this fit her perfectly!
Then i found some wonderful minky for the back. Sad to say she has moved from CA to NC but when I showed it to her (before LAQ) before she left and I hope she loves it even more after I bind it and send off to NC. I love the sunflowers in the quilting, much to my surprise this is one of my favorite creations!
I know it was a funny place to take pictures but it had rained all night and this was the only sunny spot outside I could take the pics- wanted them to come out as colorful as possible!
