It really varies as far as temp and cold and snow. Today and tomorrow is shaping up to be the blizzard of the decade here!! Up to 15 inches of snow expected here in central Iowa with 35-50 mph winds expected tomorrow! I'm thinking that we retired just in time. (this summer!)
Of course that is the exception. Usually, we get a snow every 2 weeks or so and temps in the 15-40 degree range, mostly 20s.
