I liked "who's watching"

The down side of exchanges - same as the down side for potlucks -

there are some that bring things that are definitely a bit lower quality or value than the majority of exchangers

how about a contribution to a food shelf?

after everyone has checked in, maybe a contest/quiz - someone would have to count the contributions -

how many cans of corn?
how many cans of beans?
etc?

whoever has the most correct answers could win a door prize

Will the attendees be dressed up?

Hold up odd/unusual quilting gadgets and have people name them - or have a sheet of paper with them listed and they have to match the item with a letter

Everyone would have all the items on the sheet - so it would be different from bingo/quilto - Item #1 - is Letter M

or pass the items around with numbers taped to them. If a large group, have several of each item going around at one time. Could have more than one thing going around at the same time, too.

Suggestions: etui (fancy needle case), awl, needle threader, point turner, etc. -
use the name that the maker/manufacturer uses
