I like the machine (which is a Tin Lizzie 18LS), unfussy about thread, tension is very easy to set. I also have had to replace the encoders (which are for stitch regulation and you need if you are going to use computerized quilting). I eventually learned that I prefer to quilt with stitch regulation off. The frame, not so much. The wheels roll on plastic runners which have developed flat spots making it tricky to move the machine in some areas. The runners are replaceable, but you have to take the whole frame apart to do it. All in all, I got a great deal price-wise, and learned to deal with it's quirks, but like Mighty, I'm considering trading it in.
