I need to warsh some clothes

My MIL says Wal-Mark and K-Mark for Wal-Mart and K-Mart, after hearing her say this numerous times, one day I asked her what letter was at the end of the word, she said T....but she still pronounces it with a "K".

MY MIL also says screenge for screen and chimley for chimney

Hold your horses

“They” say….

One thing already mentioned is for Alzheimer’s people say Old Timers, I think this irritates me the most.

Brashelet for Bracelet

Pouring down the rain, when it's raining really hard

Here in WV, we call grocery/shopping carts “buggies”

My MIL says Soda Pop or Sodie pop

I’ve heard people say “Blush you” when someone sneezes, instead of “Bless you”

My aunt used to always say “Why come”. “Why come did you do that,” it drove me crazy!

I’m going to LEARN you do this, instead of teach.

You’re cruisin’ for a bruisin’

Cat got your tongue?

There’s a frog in my throat

Someone asks “for real?” after telling them something, usually it’s the younger generation
