Two weeks ago at a craft show there was a booth with Indian motif quilts. They were done with a large central motif - the eagle was my favorite that had been done with squares and hsts blending into a dark background and then a border. It looked like it had been plotted out on graph paper and it was probably three or four inch squares. They came out to bed sized quilts. The gentlemen who was minding the booth was telling me all about the ladies who made them and everything else in the booth and their meaning and connection to the tribe. They had the flimsy tops priced between two and three hundred each - probably very fair as they were all hand sewn and made with good quality solid cottons. pm me if you would like to pick my brain more.
