Thanks QNS. I don't think prices will go down after Christmas as it's not common here to use a crockpot. I can order from Amazon.co.uk and need a conversion plug with it. That's no problem and they do have a lot to choose from. With S/H the price will be about the same so that won't be a problem. Maybe Amazon will drop their prices after Christmas? I can wait
