Oh...that's a clever idea! I'll bet it looks darling! You could really have fun with that idea...little pom poms, satin bows, buttons, etc.

I agree Mary, The quilts that I'm tying are made of soft, cotton flannel and they're much cozier tied, then smashed down and quilted. There's more loft and softness to them.

I'm going to do a couple more this way and just burrrrnnnnn through my UFOs!
