Last week, I brought out a few zip lock bags of scraps that were given to me by a friend. I cut some black pieces, about one inch square, but not square, and began sewing pieces around it, log-cabin style. Nothing is square. If it was I cut it wonky. I kept going until I had a piece 9 and 1/2 inch square. I did it chain-sew style, and started 24 of them. I have 14 of them finished. I will sash this with the black to match the center square.

One of these squares has 36 or 37 pieces in it. It's really hard to count. I won't count any of the others. LOL
