Jingle - I will try again- maybe blocks with sashing- can see that would be easier. Like idea of not manhandling a big quilt through the throat area! It's not making them stronger I am worried about - it is the bulk of sewing together 5 layers on the seam of a pinwheel- I have a lump there now - oh well - I chose the wrong block. My fault.
