Mudose8, here's a pic of 2 of the blocks from FWS. They're just blocks quilted onto the batting, no backing. My batting is cut larger than the blocks to go into the sashing. At the time I quilted these I wasn't sure what width my sashing would be. When I decided on 1 1/2" sashings I trimmed the batting to 3/4" around each block. I don't have a pic of the back of the finished quilt but I did all the blocks and borders this way before attaching the backing.[ATTACH=CONFIG]452417[/ATTACH]
