I just made one for mom and I think it would be uncomfortable with anything added. Hers was so soft and folded around her body and she loved the pillow it made when she slept on the plane.

found a really easy pattern for a quillow made with a prepurchased throw and you just add a pocket to form a quillow. the nice thing about the pattern was the pocket could keep your feet warm when unfolded. so i found some really cute throws at walmart but the fleece is really soft and stretchy. wondering if i cut one of them into squares to make the pocket - i am afraid it is too stretchy so i was wondering if i added an iron on stabilizer to just the pocket piece if it would keep it from stretching? any ideas and/or thoughts would be welcome. i was hoping to make them for xmas gifts.
