“THE” PARTY MIX

1) 1 box Cheerios
2) 1 box Cheez-its
3) 1 bag pretzels
4) 3 boxes of Chex cereals
5) nuts

I use a 20 quart stainless steel bowl and fill it with any mixture of cereals, crackers, etc. The above is the original recipe. Use your imagination. After you have combined your variety of dry ingredients, coat with the following mixture:

1) 1 tablespoon garlic salt
2) 1 tablespoon celery salt
3) 1 tablespoon ground all spice
4) ½ tablespoon cayenne pepper
5) 3 tablespoons Accent

Dissolve the spices in one pound of oleo (I use butter) and one cup of vegetable oil. If you are not using a stainless steel bowl, place the mixture in a LARGE baking pan and bake for 2 hours at 200 degrees. Stir every 20 minutes.

Comment: This is a spicy mix and you will never want to eat the “bland” mixes again. I make large popcorn tins of this at Christmas time and for receptions.
