I read a post on here about a stain glass quilt and eventually thought up an idea for a wallhanging. Gotta love how my train of thought runs sometimes.
When I read the post about the stain glass my brain kind of clicked in and made me remember something I saw when I first played "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker". When you finally get the Master Sword, if you look around the room where you find it you'll see these beautifulstained glass windows, eight of them. They're just not ordinary stain glass windows---they depict 6 of the 7 the sages from "Ocarina of Time" plus Ganon and the Triforce. Got me all nostolgic when I first saw it. :)

Anyways, I got to thinking how cool it would be if those were actually real. Well, don't think I could actually make them out of stained glass...never done it and I went to Hobby Lobby once and the supplies for it were expensive. I figure I'm already planning on making the sea map from the game so why not go for the stained glass windows of the sages too? lol.
I've read a little about stain glass quilts, but I want to ask you guys who have done stain glass quilts about how I would go about making these images into quilts. I know one problem for me would probably be getting the "leading" widths right...and these stain glass windows have several different widths of leading to them. You guys explain it better than any magazine ever could. And in magazines and such they never tell you about the insanity draining problems you run into.
