Default My favorite Christmas cookie recipe.... what's yours?

I've been making these at Christmas for as long as I can remember. You have to have a cookie press.... and I still try to find them at estate sales, etc. You use the star plate, press out a long line of dough, cut them into 5" lengths. I use a 3x5 card to measure them. Then you twist the dough and press the ends together to make the cookies. They aren't super sweet.... but they look so pretty at Christmastime. Love them.

So, what's your favorite Christmas cookie?

Holly Wreaths
1 c. unsalted butter
1- 3oz cream cheese
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour

Cream sugar, cream cheese, and margarine. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually, blend in the flour. Fill the cookie press with the star plate. Cut into 5" lengths and press together the ends.

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. Cookies should just be slightly golden. Remove at once to cooling racks.

Decorate each cookie with green frosting using the leaf tip and put 2 red cinnamon candies for holly berries.
