Oh honey, I feel your pain. I have been on a mission to finish quilting my DGD's quilt for her new bed. I had finished the top, with both pieced and appliqued blocks, prior to having surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder, of course. I'm doing better, although not as quickly as I would have liked. Now it's Christmas Eve, I just finished trimming the quilt to put the binding on and have see far too many "flaws" (I think it's a nice word for mistakes), however she is just 3 1/2 and I'm hoping that she will love this quilt as much as the very first one I made when she was born. My DIL says that she uses that quilt because "MiMi made it for me." Doesn't get any sweeter than that. I'm taking a break, baking dessert for Christmas Eve dinner with my DS, DIL and DGD, then I'll review Jenny Doan's tutorial on putting a binding on with the machine and see if I can finish it, then wash and dry it before we go over there tonight. I need a miracle.
