The 6600 is a wonder workhorse! And I have the 12000. Many machines I also have bernina (love!) and Viking (love!). And pfaff (ok). Each with their strengths etc. if you're looking at struck sewing in Janome look at the 8's (8200 8900). I didn't like the aqs system in the 7700. If not look at Viking and bernina or brother.
