I have 4 Janome machines and would recommend them to anyone. They are made to last. If you were looking at the 7700 you should have a look at the 8200 or 8900 as the have the 11" harp space which is a bonus if you intend to quilt on it. I have the 6600 as well as the 8200 which I bought to put on my Kookaburra quilting frame. (I also have a MC10000 but have ordered the new Horizon 15000 because I do a lot of embroidery.)
