I bought my Necchi Leila in 1964. after Christmas sale. Salesman talked me into the "top of the line" model. Glad he did. Never have used some of the options, but 50 years later it still sew like a dream. Bought a new Singer in 1984 but it mostly just sits ( or backup when Necchi is being serviced) I thought I needed a newer machine. Boy was I wrong. Wouldn't trade my machine for all the new models they make. I love it.
