Loretta: I think your color choices are beautiful. I hope you find a way to make this work. The lone star is one of the challenging quilts I really want to attempt one day. Think of it this way, you know so much by just attempting it. There are so many skilled quilters on this board, if you took it apart and showed each step as you put it back together I bet many would be willing to walk you through it.
