Wow, I never heard of that! I'll have to try it.
This year I did put African violet fertilizer water and it started blooming almost instantly! and now it's blooming again.

How pretty! Mine has about 40 blooms on it. I read in one of my Gardening Books to put 3 Tablespoons of Castor Oil on the soil in the pot in October. I started doing that year before last, and it bloomed till March.
