I like this idea. I have pictures I have collected of such a bed that I was going to make for my kids in their tiny rooms. I will have to remember this when I move!

Wish I had that "loft" now, as it would be a good place for storage, fabric, etc. You might google bunk beds and get an idea as to what I am trying to explain.
