I'm sure that your daughter will love and cherish that beautiful quilt. I too saved fabric from sewing for my daughter and when she went off to college, she asked me to help her make a quilt, but "not like the ones you make Mom, I want every square to be different." Well, she always knew what she wanted, so she went searching through my stash, remembering the fabric I'd used to sew her clothes; and other fabrics. To the best of my knowledge, she hasn't figured out that there are 2 squares of the same fabric, but she hasn't found them yet. That was the one and only quilt that she ever made, and I finished quilting it a week after she started college.
