If I ever make myself such a quilt, I plan to attach a 2.5" black solid square on both ends of the jelly roll strips as accents. I've seen very attractive pink/black quilts.
I don't think my Mom would like black in hers, so was wondering if solid white squares would look good. Using the white is why I would not use VERY light pinks. Any opinions?
If you want something for contrast, how about burgandy or scarlet or blood red or all 3, then use your light pinks.
