ok Jan and I had a color discussion this last summer over whether a color was aqua or turquoise and we both disagreed. point being that when you do something like this and say oh please use only AQUA! will you get aqua or your version of turquoise? we do interpret color in our own way. I am glad to be picking my own colors and well that is one colorful quilt you have there. The center is great.. how big is it? I forget sorry. on point you will be keeping that thought or going with it square this time? you are welcome to put your centers on point just be aware everyone you will be making a whole lot more blocks.. that quilt grows magically with each round in comparison to other quilts but where we might do 28 blocks in a round you could end up with over 40 in no time at all. I love the checkerboard look though... might make a fun round to do for one of the easy rounds.. found a great round for the second round today think it will work easily on everyones quilts or so I hope. I was up sketching late last night trying to decide on the perfect first round.. see I am moving right along with everyone here not going to be ahead by more than say a block or two for an example.
