My hubby found this machine buried in a junk shop today. As he walked by he saw the pedal and thought he would would clear it off. After clearing it off he saw it was a small Singer in a small cabinet. He could not find any numbers on it so I could not look it up. The machine is in surprisingly good shape and the decals seem to be good also, however it is very, very dirty. The top is missing, the belt is missing and the cabinet is a little rough but solid. The vendor wants a 100 dollars for it but I feel that is too much. I would like to know what model this is and if the top is available. Hubby tried on line but could not find a top however he doesn't know all the little secret places they may be hiding. Also would like to know if 100 dollars is a fair price.
