My DH built me this same cabinet. I love it. I have a small ironing board that I connect on the right side that I use with a travel iron. The left side is long enough to put my cutting board on for small cuts when I am sewing. Any larger amounts of cutting I do elsewhere. When the cabinet is closed it's a nice looking piece of furniture. My friend saw it and liked it so well she paid my husband to build her one. She was also using a small bedroom for sewing. We quilters can always find space to quilt.
