Did u try typing in GOOGLE step by step easy to do applique, or things like tutorials on applique. I have never tried it but do want to in future GOD willing, I am 74 and not getting any younger. I think it is beautiful to c quilts with applique. Wished I could help more, sure some of the advanced quilters will be able to help u.
