The borders I posted this morning are both 4 1/2" wide unfinished. When they are sewn to your center it should measure 4 1/4". Love the centers all of you are posting, going to be some beautiful quilts made. Excited to see if more is sewn tomorrow. Will check in the morning to see if there are any other questions, been sewing all day, the old back is suffering for it tonight. I think the hot pad is calling my name.
This was going to be my question too. I've made 8 blocks today, but they all finished up as 4 1/4", so I'll have 8 more done for the next "scrappy" I'll start again tomorrow.
