I voluntarily retired from a job I really liked, close to home, great people, etc. Just felt it was time. And have had no regrets. I enjoy every day and am never bored. There is always something to do, something to read, something to watch, and if I want to go out, some place to go, someone to see, etc. Mr. Stitchnripper is very grateful for any meal I have for him, so cooking is very simple for us. He still works, so I don't mind doing the house stuff. I go to the gym 3 mornings a week (not that I love going, but it makes me feel good when I am done) and have a very easy part time job one morning a week. Rest of time seems to go by very nicely. It is a pretty nice adventure.
