Those borders are not wavy they are down right curly! You really must remove and correct. No amount of quilting can fix it as it is. I have quilted "out" a wavy border on the L/A by sewing slower on a bit higher speed..the extra stitches will suck up some fabric, but on that one....NOT. It is really to striking to leave it that way.....
