Oops!
So I am using my new toy, I mean embroidery machine, to add quilting to a pieced baby quilt. I am using this method:

Each block of quilting design has a basted placement line around it to help you line it up with what has already been done. I mistakenly nicked a bottom thread of one of my designs when removing a placement line. I have been using a monofilament bobbin thread, and cotton top thread. I am not really sure how to correct this without re-doing the whole segment.
Should I try advancing through the stitches in the design, and stitching over that little area?
Or should I just hand stitch the bottom thread to grab the intact top thread?
I just don't want the quilting to unravel on me.
