I just made my first log cabin - a Christmas wreath wall hanging using the Eleanor Burns method. I had to read the instructions about 8 times before they made sense, but once it clicked it was really very, very easy. Haven't tried Judy Martin's method yet do have one of her books, so will be trying her method out in some fashion this winter.
