Hello, I am nearing the end of an EPP project with one inch pieces. The seams are pressed open. I would like to try hand quilting with a big stitch using Perle (not densely quilted) but I am wondering if this is not the project to start learning on as the majority of stitches would need to go through the seam allowance. I unsure of how much difference that makes for ease of quilting and if using a bigger needle factors into this.
I don't want my first experience to be bad
What do you think? Or am I even being clear enough to convey my question… long day!
