Well here it is 2014. Since Dec 1st I have bought only one yard for a round robin that nothing matched in my stash.. I have visually bought however about 25 yrds of this and that. I get that darned equilter thing in my mail box and I stupidly look at the pics then click on it just for the heck of it then see a page of 50 fabrics.. yikes get out of my sight line!
I am making a medallion style/round robin type quilt in my block of the month forum. I have decided to dedicate that quilt to the little scraps that sit on my shelves. Most are between 10" and less than a f/4. Tons of them. So a rainbow quilt it will be and I hope to make a dent in that pile.. hope with me. I just finished yellow orange and it sure didn't make too grand a dent lol but that was round one. Now I hope to kill a bit of the orange/red in the next stint. hope is a big word here. lots in that darned pile!
