98 yrs.young and going back to work!
Well it was a tough decision, but I decided to sell my Singer 29-4 to a friend who does leatherwork among many other talents that he has. I found the old girl on craigslist over in Mississippi about 5 mos. ago not in the best of shape. After restoration it was the centerpiece of my collection. Most people have never seen such a machine and just loved it. It was made in 1916 and 4000 were made in that production run. We came to terms, I got cash plus a 1940 Singer 66 in a cabinet, a 1950 Singer 128 and 2 Kenmore's from the early 50's. I am glad to see the old girl back to work and hope I can do so when I turn 98(lol). Attached are before restoration, after restoration and on the new job.
