301's are great machines. If I could get another one for $99 in excellent condition, I would grab it. I have noticed their prices are climbing.
I just won one on eBay for $119 which I thought was great because it has all original paperwork, is a long bed mocha (i have a short bed black), a button holler and a case. I LOVE my 301. I just made a lovey today and was thinking that there was NO WAY that my new fancy Brother would have been able to get through all of the layers of fleece. So for me, just about anything that I can afford is a good price.
My opinion is get it and get it now!!!
