Right. After cutting and later sewing stack of blocks she wraps each individual section in foil, like a packed lunch to class. On opening they are beautiful and flat and no fraying.



PS.
I HAVE USED, the foil found in first aid box space blanket when paper piecing scissors. They have been washed and bag carried round a great deal with no rips tips or cuts. It does look like foil but works very much like a fabric.
