without a bobbin case. Yes they're a bit expensive, but the exc appearance and having the case, I'm betting the bobbin case is there. And if it's not, buy one. I bought a 301 for $10, all there, but the base is pretty rough because it went in and out of the cradle for years and wore off the paint, a hazard to ones that call a stand home instead of a case. Are you going to drive to Reno to pick it up, or get it shipped? that does ad to the cost, but it's still not bad. Go gamble and maybe you can pay for the gas, or make the $50 on the sewing machine seem inconsequential.
fortunately, the bobbin case is there. not driving there, but it's not so bad as it's about 3-4hrs drive from my place. my uncle lives in that area and he's willing to pick it up for me. so no additional gas expense on my part. he's bringing it here this friday as we have a family get together on saturday.
