You ask if you could sell something for "what it's really worth," but I think the question you're really asking is whether you can recoup the money that you spent for materials, plus a reasonable wage for the time you spent working on the item. I truly believe these are different things. What something is really worth is a decision that the buyers make, and unfortunately they seldom wish to compensate us for the ridiculous amounts we spend on fabrics and the skilled labor and artistry that goes into making quilts. That said, there is a market for hand made items on etsy, and there would be no harm in offering some of your quilts at a price that you would be comfortable with. Good luck!
