Default A men's wallet

My old leather wallet was starting to fall apart, so I decided it was time for a new one. I shopped around but didn't see one like the one I had, so I thought I'd try to make one. I used a quilting fabric with a design I liked (it shows off my inner child) and stiffened it with some interfacing.

For a pattern, I simply measured my old wallet and added a quarter inch seam allowance. I shouldn't have used interfacing on the credit card pockets because it made the bottom and side seams too heavy. When it came time to put the binding on, I had to switch to a jeans needle.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I even had a cashier at a fast food restaurant compliment me on it.
