great idea! and nice looking! I made something similar that I didn't use interfacing but it wasn't sturdy enough. Somewhere I read that if aluminum foil was placed between the layers of fabric, then your credit cards couldn't be read by a hacker. I haven't tried it yet but am planning to do so on the next one I make.
